You're spot on in all your tips.

I always tell job seekers two things:

1) Focus on what you can control: your resume customized to the role, your interview answers, and how you approach others in the hiring process. You gain nothing from complaining or blaming recruiters.

2) Value yourself at all times. A job hunting process can be daunting and frustrating. Think of yourself as someone who has lots to offer. If they reject you, it's their loss, but keep working on your value proposition and putting yourself out there.
